Chris Barnes

Chris Barnes has extensive experience in the field of laboratory animal science, currently serving as Past President, Nominations Committee Chair, and Symposium Chair on the CALAS/ACSAL Board of Directors since June 2017. In addition, Chris holds the position of Animal Care Program Manager at ImmunoPrecise Antibodies Ltd. since July 2017. Prior experience includes roles at the University of Victoria from 1998 to 2017, culminating in senior positions in laboratory animal care and research services. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Victoria and has obtained certifications as a Registered Laboratory Animal Technician and Registered Master Laboratory Animal Technician from CALAS/ACSAL.
