Kanxing Wu

Kanxing Wu has a diverse range of work experience in the field of research and biology. They began their career as a Student Assistant at the Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology in 2006. They also worked as a Research Student at the National University of Singapore in 2007.

In 2011, Kanxing Wu became a PHD Candidate at the National University of Singapore, where they conducted research on host factors and antiviral discovery for Enterovirus 71. They utilized a human genome-wide siRNA screen to identify host factors involved in virus infection and replication. They also carried out in vivo antiviral evaluations in a murine model for EV71, while working on elucidating the molecular mechanisms of antiviral compounds found in a natural product library screen. Their advisor during this time was Justin Chu Jang-Hann. They completed their PhD in 2016.

Following their PhD, Kanxing Wu joined the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine in 2017 as a Postdoctoral Researcher. They worked in this role until 2021, conducting further research in their field.

In 2021, Kanxing Wu joined ImmunoScape as a Research Scientist. They later transitioned to the role of Senior Research Scientist in January 2022.
