Russell Howard

Russell Howard is the non-executive chairman at Immutep. Russell has also held positions at Genome.One P/L, NeuClone, NovoNutrients, and Maxygen. At Maxygen, they were the CEO and led the company for 12 years. Russell has also worked at GSK as the president and scientific director/technology transfer.

Russell Howard received their PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Melbourne. Russell then worked as a visiting researcher on algal metabolism at the University of Kaiserslautern. Russell returned to the University of Melbourne to complete their Bachelor of Science Honours in Biochemistry, and then completed their Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry & Chemistry.
