Sophie Nazeri is an experienced conservation and planning professional currently serving as the Manager of Planning & Facilitation at Impact by Design, Inc. since October 2024, while also holding a Fellowship with Emerging Wildlife Conservation Leaders since June 2024. Previously, Sophie spent four years at Humane Society International as a Senior Program Coordinator and Program Coordinator for Wildlife. Notable experience includes a role as Planning and Network Coordinator at Macaw Recovery Network, where strategic conservation plans were developed, and significant contributions to the 2020 IUCN Red List update for great green macaws. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Animal Sciences from Cornell University and a Master's degree in Environmental Policy and Management from the University of California, Davis.
