Francois de Borchgrave

Francois de Borchgrave has extensive experience in impact investing and finance, currently serving as a Partner at Impact Expansion since June 2019, which focuses on high-impact business models in Europe. As the Founder and Managing Partner of KOIS since May 2010, Francois leads efforts to develop financing solutions for underserved communities. Prior experience includes founding and managing FraMaCa, specializing in private equity and real estate investments, and serving as a Professor at Solvay Brussels School from 2004 to 2013, teaching various subjects related to finance and entrepreneurship. Francois also held roles at Sony Europe as Europe Internet Strategy Manager and co-founded Smarterwork.com Limited, an internet platform. Educational qualifications include an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Master’s degree from Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management.
