Buck Taylor

Buck Taylor has a wealth of experience in the fire protection industry. Buck started their career at Grinnell Fire Protection in 1994, where they worked as an Inspector and Foreman, handling various fire sprinkler projects. Buck then moved on to Tyco SimplexGrinnell in 2001, where they served as an Inspection Manager, building the Inspection and Pump Division. During their time there, they significantly grew the department and supported sales staff in pricing and achieving top margins.

In 2004, Buck joined Firetrol Protection Systems as a Service Manager, responsible for building and managing the Service and Inspection/Maintenance business. Buck successfully opened the Houston office and recruited employees across all aspects of the business. Buck was later promoted to District General Manager, overseeing four offices and implementing the necessary infrastructure for continued growth.

Currently, Buck is the President of Impact Fire Services, a role they have held since 2015. Buck oversees six districts and one finance center in Texas, focusing on growth and profitability. Under their leadership, the company has experienced significant revenue growth, increased EBITDA, and improved key performance metrics.

Throughout their career, Buck has demonstrated strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and a track record of driving growth in the fire protection industry.

Buck Taylor attended San Jacinto College from 1994 to 1998, where they earned a technical degree in Sprinkler Fitting. Prior to that, from 1984 to 1988, they graduated from South Beauregard High School with a General diploma. In addition to their education, Buck Taylor also obtained several certifications including Nicet Level I Water Based System Layout and Nicet Level III Test and Inspection from NICET, as well as an RME I certification from the Texas Department of Insurance in 2005.
