Alita Carbone

Alita Carbone's work experience includes roles such as Principal at Impact Science Ventures starting in 2023. Previously, they worked as the Director of Strategy and Operations at Claros Technologies Inc., a VC-backed start-up focused on green chemistry and advanced materials science. Alita has also served as a Senior Associate at 3x5 Partners, a venture capital firm investing in healthcare and climate solutions. Alita has experience as an Investment Banking Analyst at William Blair & Company and as a Legal Intern at Sidley Austin LLP. Alita has also held various research and assistant positions at the University of Chicago and the Cook County State's Attorney's Office.

Alita Carbone completed their education with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Chicago in 2017. During their time at university, they achieved Departmental Honors and General Honors, and consistently made it to the Dean's List for all quarters. Prior to attending university, they attended Northside College Preparatory High School from 2009 to 2013. Additionally, they studied Classical Piano at Interlochen Center for the Arts from 2009 to 2011, and continued their piano studies at Brevard Music Center in 2012. Alita also holds certifications in Series 63-Uniform Securities Agent State Law Exam, Series 79-Investment Banking Representative Exam, and VC University.
