Mark Butler

Mark Butler is currently a Board Member at Impact, and previously served as the Director of Finance and Administration at the National Center for Victims of Crime from January 2008 to December 2011. In this role, Mark was responsible for leading the organization's restructuring for operational efficiency. Mark also served as the Acting Executive Director from May to December 2009.

Prior to their work at the National Center for Victims of Crime, Mark was the Manager of Grants Accounting & Financial Analysis at the Children's Defense Fund from January 2006 to December 2008. In this role, they were responsible for modernizing the organization's financial processes through automation.

Mark has a proven track record of success in financial management, reporting, and process improvement. Mark has successfully saved 100% of vendor relationships and strengthened accounts payable through new tracking systems. In addition, they have created a 1-hour monthly financial reporting process (vs prior 8 hours).

Mark Butler has a Master of Business Administration from Tulane University's A.B. Freeman School of Business and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Baylor University's Hankamer School of Business. Mark's educational focus is in finance and business policy & strategy.
