Shawn Garvey

Shawn Garvey is a book author currently working on a project titled "People Can: How Human Beings Solve Monumental Problems." Shawn is also the Founding Director of Momentum X Ventures, a venture studio focusing on clean technology adoption. Additionally, Shawn serves as a Venture Advisor at Impact Venture Capital, a member of the Advisory Board at LabStart, and the Co-Founder and Chair of the Board at e-Mission Control. Previously, Garvey served as the CEO of Momentum, Co-Founder and Board Member of the Bioenergy Association of California, Vice President at CleanWorld, Founder and CEO of The Sierra Fund, and Executive Director of the South Yuba River Citizens League. Garvey holds a BS in Finance from Boston University and has a background in public affairs and business.
