Tamara Adlin is an advisor at ImpactKarma and has over 20 years of experience in user-centered design. Tamara has a passion for helping companies design products that are not only user-friendly, but also make a positive impact on the world.
Tamara got their start in the industry at Attenex, where they were the user-centered design team lead. During their time there, they helped Attenex develop software that improved litigation support productivity by 10X. Tamara then moved on to Akamai Technologies, where they were the program manager for human-centered design. At Akamai, they were the lead designer of the award-winning Netpodium user interface.
After leaving Akamai, Tamara founded their own user experience consultancy, which they ran for 15 years. During that time, they worked with clients such as Microsoft, Amazon, and Google. In 2017, they joined ImpactKarma as an advisor. ImpactKarma is a social enterprise that uses data and technology to help nonprofits and social enterprises achieve their missions.
Tamara Adlin received their MS in human centered design and engineering (HCDE) from the University of Washington and their BA in art & psychology from Vassar College.
