Aisha Williams

Aisha Williams has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Aisha is the Founder and CEO of ImpactVest, a company focused on impact investing. Prior to that, they worked as an ESG and SRI Portfolio Manager at RJK Associates. Aisha also served as an External ESG Expert for the European Commission and as an International Business Affiliate Professor at Grenoble Ecole de Management. Aisha has contributed as an ESG and Sustainability Editorial Contributor for Nasdaq and taught as an International Business Professor at Qingdao University. Aisha began their career as a U.S Boren Scholar in the United States Diplomatic Service.

Aisha Williams has a diverse education history. Aisha started their higher education journey in 2001 at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in International/Global Studies. Aisha completed this degree in 2005.

Following their undergraduate studies, Aisha enrolled at the Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro in 2003, where they obtained a Certificado em Ciência Política e Sociologia. However, the duration of this program is not specified.

In 2005, Aisha returned to the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign to pursue a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Development Finance and Economics, which they completed in 2009.

In recent years, Aisha has continued their education. From 2019 to 2021, they attended HEC Paris and obtained a Master of Science (Msc) in Innovation and Entrepreneurship. The field of study for this degree is not specified.

In terms of additional certifications, Aisha has expanded their knowledge and expertise in specialized areas. Notably, they obtained the CFA Institute Investment Foundations certification in September 2019. In November 2019, they also obtained the CISI Integrity Matters certification from The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (The CISI).

In 2020, Aisha pursued further education at the University of Geneva, focusing on Investment Management. Additionally, they obtained certifications such as Ethical Decision Making and Giving Voice to Values (GVV) for Investment Professionals from the CFA Institute. Aisha also completed the Sustainable Investing in Wealth Management program offered by the Center for Sustainable Finance and Private Wealth.

In 2021, Aisha obtained the Certified Expert in Sustainable Finance (CESFi) certification from the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management. Aisha also earned the Certified Blockchain and Finance Professional certification from the Blockchain Council.

Aisha Williams continues to expand their knowledge and expertise by obtaining certifications. Most recently, in April 2022, they completed the Nasdaq Advisor Academy: Digital Assets program.
