Vuyisa Jobo

Vuyisa Jobo is an experienced Ventilation Officer at Implats since August 2022, where responsibilities include coordinating ventilation and sanitation crews, monitoring ventilation system installations, calculating main fan performance, and overseeing underground occupational exposure conditions. Prior experience includes serving as an Occupational Environment Officer at Village Main Reef's Kopanang Mine from May 2019 to August 2022 and working as a Ventilation and Occupational Hygiene Intern at AngloGold Ashanti from February 2018 to February 2019. Vuyisa holds an Intermediate Certificate in Mine Environmental Control from Minerals Council South Africa (2018-2019) and a Bachelor of Science in Geology (Honours) from the University of Fort Hare (2016).
