Allison Hunter

Allison Hunter is a seasoned professional in technical operations and laboratory management with extensive experience spanning nearly three decades. Currently serving as a Technical Operations Manager at Imperial College London since April 2015, Allison is focused on implementing sustainability initiatives to reduce the environmental impact of laboratories, contributing to the College's goal of achieving a net zero campus by 2040. Allison has held various roles at King's College London, including Technical Manager and Deputy School Resource Manager, overseeing multi-site laboratory operations and ensuring high standards of technical service. Notable past experiences include research positions at prestigious institutions such as the Institute of Neurology and Birkbeck College, coupled with academic credentials including an MSc in Biomolecular Organisation from Birkbeck, University of London.
