Angelos Malandrakis

Angelos Malandrakis is a Ph.D. researcher at Imperial College London, focusing on the development of 3D deep learning architectures for object detection in computed tomography images. Previously, Angelos worked as a data scientist and back-end software developer at Newdeal Real Estate Group and contributed to a spatio-temporal model at the UK Centre for Ecology & Hydrology for the EU Horizon 2020 project NanoFASE. Earlier experience includes software development roles at RE/MAX and the Hellenic Army, alongside co-founding NEOPERATIVA, a platform connecting freelancers with businesses. Angelos holds a Master's degree in Data Science from Lancaster University and an Integrated Master's degree in Applied Mathematics & Physics from the National Technical University of Athens.
