Ella Barkay

Ella Barkay is an experienced Grant Writer and Project Manager at the Department of Bioengineering at Imperial College London, specializing in the preparation of various grant applications. In addition, Ella serves as a Mentor and Grant Writing Consultant for Med-Tech and Health-Tech companies through Capital Enterprise and works with start-ups associated with Start Codon to develop grant applications. As the founder of Kenko LTD, a London-based consultancy, Ella helps MedTech and Life Science companies secure funding through a variety of grants. Previous experience includes mentoring Oncology start-ups at cLAB Ventures and managing a biochemistry research lab at the Weizmann Institute of Science. Ella's career also includes roles in human resources and medical representation, complemented by a Master of Science in Medical Sciences from Technion and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Life Science from Tel Aviv University.
