Sandra Cooke

Sandra Cooke has extensive experience in student affairs, event planning, and communications, currently serving as the Director of Student Affairs Operations, Orientation, and Civic Engagement at Hampden-Sydney College since May 2005. In this role, Sandra has organized significant student events, created the Hampden-Sydney Tigers Serve initiative, managed budgets, and supervised support staff while actively participating in various faculty-staff working groups. Previously, Sandra held the position of Director of College Events, coordinating major college events and social gatherings. Prior experience includes roles as a Marketing and Communications Specialist at Piedmont Community Health Plan and as a Public Relations Coordinator at Centra Health, where Sandra successfully led campaigns, managed websites, and promoted community health initiatives. Sandra earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration/Marketing from Longwood University.
