Professor Of Composite Materials at Imperial College London

Emile Greenhalgh is a Professor of Composite Materials at Imperial College, a position held since February 2003, where research encompasses various aspects of composites with a focus on damage characterization and failure investigation, as well as leading efforts in multifunctional (structural power) composites. Additionally, Emile serves as the Head of The Composite Centre at Imperial College London since the same date. Prior to these roles, Emile worked at QinetiQ as a Principal Scientific Officer from October 1987 to February 2003. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Physics from Imperial College London, completed between 1984 and 1987, and earlier education at Deer Park School in Cirencester from 1980 to 1984.
