Gabriela Cipriano Flores is currently a Research Assistant at Imperial College London, involved in the Wellcome-funded Heat in Pregnancy–India project, which examines the effects of extreme heat on pregnant women and newborns in India. Prior experience includes serving as the Planetary Health Research Strategy Coordinator at The George Institute for Global Health, where coordination of the Planetary Health Research Strategy was conducted, and as an Evaluator for the UNFPA Youth Strategy, contributing to the Youth Steering Committee. Gabriela holds a Master of Science in Health and International Development from the London School of Economics and Political Science and previously worked as the Chief Medical Officer at Mallay Medical Post in Peru, overseeing outpatient care and health emergencies. Additionally, Gabriela held the position of Vice President Finance at the International Federation of Medical Students' Associations, managing the financial direction of a large federation of medical students. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia.
