Caleb Doll

Caleb Doll is a Research Assistant Professor at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, with a research focus on the excitatory/inhibitory balance of Mushroom Body synaptogenesis in Drosophila and the development of optogenetic tools to address imbalances associated with Fragile X syndrome. Prior to this role, Caleb served as a Postdoctoral Fellow and Neuroscience Graduate Fellow at Vanderbilt University, where notable contributions included organizing the 2009 Brain Blast educational event and editing for the Vanderbilt Reviews Neuroscience journal. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Neuroscience and a B.S. in Biological Sciences, both obtained from Vanderbilt University. Experience also encompasses research on stored product insect behavior at USDA-ARS and extensive field research at Kansas State University.
