Kate Wighton

Kate Wighton is an experienced communications professional with a strong background in health and science media. Currently serving as the Research Media Manager at Imperial College London since October 2015, Wighton previously held the position of Research Media Officer in the Department of Medicine. Prior roles include Communications Manager for the National Institute for Health Research's Clinical Research Network and a series of editorial positions at major publications such as The Daily Mail International, The Sun, and The Times, focusing on health features and communications. Wighton holds both a Master of Science in Science Communication and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Imperial College London.
