Cindy Smit

Cindy Smit is an accomplished professional in the field of human resources and total rewards, currently serving as the Director of Total Reward for the DP World SSA Region since November 2023. Prior to this role, Cindy held the position of Remuneration & Benefits Manager at Imperial since November 2020, and worked as a Key Account Manager at PwC Research Services (Pty) Ltd from June 2019 to November 2020. Additional experience includes serving as the Research Project Manager at Top Employers Institute from May 2018 to May 2019, and as the Group Remuneration & Benefits Specialist at Group Five Construction from June 2011 to April 2018. Earlier in Cindy's career, roles included Human Resource Admin Manager at Group Five Plant, Equipment & Steel from February 2005 to March 2011. Cindy holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Human Resource Management from North-West University and Potchefstroom University, completed between 1995 and 1998.
