Ian Matheson has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and companies. Ian started their career at The Nielsen Company in 1999, where they worked as an Account Director until 2004. Ian then joined Revlon as a Regional Sales Manager from 2006 to 2008. Following this, they moved to Reckitt Benckiser as a Trade Marketing Manager in 2008. In 2008, they also started working at Bayer HealthCare, initially as a Key Account Manager, then as a Channel and Export Manager, National Sales Manager, and eventually as the Head of Sales until 2015. From 2015 to 2016, Ian Matheson served as the Consumer Segment Lead at Lenovo South Africa. Ian later joined Twinsaver Group as the Away From Home Business Manager from 2016 to 2018, overseeing their commercial, care, and choice channels. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President Commercial Solutions Market Access Consumer at Imperial since 2020, where they focus on business development activities for the African Regions.
Ian Matheson attended the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika from 1993 to 1997, where they earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Business Management. Prior to that, from 1988 to 1992, they attended KES, but it is unclear what degree they obtained or field of study they pursued.
