Bill Bishop

Bill Bishop has a diverse work experience in the field of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) management. Bill'smost recent position was as an HSE Manager at Progesys Inc starting in April 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Imperial Oil as an SSHE Lead for the ITA1 Project at Kearl Lake. Bill also served as a Safety Advisor at Imperial Oil from March to October 2022. Before joining Imperial Oil, Bill was employed at SNC Lavalin as an HSSER Lead for Transmission from October 2012 to October 2021. Bill also held positions at Jacobs Industrial Services Limited as a Northern Regional HSE Manager from May 2011 to December 2012, at Laird Electric as an HSE Supervisor from October 2009 to May 2011, at Flint Energy as a Site HSE Lead and Corporate Regional HSE Coordinator from October 2005 to April 2009, and at the Government of NL as an OHS Officer from April 1998 to October 2005.

Bill Bishop attended the College of the North Atlantic from 1996 to 2008. Bill obtained an OHSC degree in HSE during this period. Prior to that, they attended Memorial University of Newfoundland from 1985 to 1991, where they received a B.A. and B.Ed in Education.
