Ivan Chai

Ivan Chai, P. Eng, has extensive experience in the engineering field, particularly in process safety and risk management. Since May 2015, Ivan has held multiple roles at Imperial Oil, including Process Safety and Risk Engineer, Energy Coordinator, Technical Contact, and Process Designer. Prior to this, Ivan contributed to Imperial Oil as a Process Operations Support Student in late 2014. Other notable experiences include serving as a Student Project Coordinator at North American Construction Group, a Materials Technician at AMEC, and an Instrumentation Technician at Shell. Ivan holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Alberta, earned from 2010 to 2015, and has also completed studies at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology from 2008 to 2010.
