Jason Iwanika

Jason Iwanika has a diverse work experience in the oil and gas industry. Jason started their career at Imperial Oil in 2001 as an Associate Facilities Engineer and later held roles as a Gas Processing Negotiator and a Senior Accounts Executive. Jason then joined ExxonMobil in 2008 as a Senior Commercial Advisor before transitioning into a role as a Production Engineering - Technical Coordinator, where they provided support for offshore oil platform design. In 2012, Jason returned to Imperial Oil and held various positions, including Supervisor Development Planning/Economic Lead, Joint Interest Rep, and Joint Interest Manager. Currently, they serve as the Director of Commercial Business Development, overseeing opportunity identification and capture for the company. In 2023, Jason is set to take on the role of VP of Commercial Development and Land at Imperial Oil.

Jason Iwanika attended the University of Calgary from 1996 to 2001, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering.
