Carolina Gonçalves Schmidt has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Carolina started their career as an Intern Dental Care Coordinator at the Local Department of Health in Porto Alegre in 2017. Carolina later joined a private dental office as a Dentist and also worked as a Trainee A&E Dentist at Grupo Hospitalar Conceição. In 2020, they transitioned to the healthcare sector and became a Care Assistant at London Care. Carolina then worked as an Intern Dental Practice Manager at Trust Dental Somerset. In 2022, they took on roles as a Business Solutions Advisor at Business Solutions Centre and as a Research Assistant at Debt Justice. In 2023, they worked as an Administrative Support at Help to Grow at LSBU, and later as a Business Advisor at Solutionise. Their most recent role is as a Human Resources Officer at Imperial War Museums, where they currently work.

Carolina Gonçalves Schmidt completed their undergraduate education at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, where they obtained a degree in Dentistry from 2012 to 2017. Carolina then pursued further studies at London South Bank University, where they are currently enrolled in a BA (Hons) Business Management with Human Resources Management program from 2019 to 2023. Additionally, in 2022, Carolina completed a Curso de Extensão in Liderança e Gestão de Pessoas em Saúde at Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul.

Carolina has also obtained several additional certifications. In 2023, they earned a CIPD Level 5 Associate Diploma from CIPD. Carolina also completed an Introduction to Primary Health Care course from John Hopkins University and a History of Public Health in Post-War Britain course from London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, U. of London in 2023 and 2022, respectively. In 2022, Carolina acquired an APM Project Fundamentals Qualification (PFQ) from the Association for Project Management. Carolina also completed an Introduction to Evaluation in Public Health and Care course from NIHR (National Institute for Health and Care Research) in 2022. In 2022, Carolina completed the Community Engagement To Build Resilient Health Systems 7 Course Series from Last Mile Health. In 2021, they obtained an IELTS UKVI Academic Overall Grade 8 from the British Council. Finally, in 2020, Carolina completed the Improving Global Health: Focusing on Quality and Safety course from HarvardX.
