Dan Gilson

Marketing Manager at Imperial War Museums

Dan Gilson has a diverse work experience in marketing and product management. Starting in 2003, they worked as an A&R Scout at 679 Recordings. Dan then moved on to Warner Brothers Records as a Marketing Assistant. From 2005 to 2006, they served as a Junior Product Manager at Universal Music Group. In 2007, they joined Warner Home Video as an Assistant Product Manager, later being promoted to Product Manager.

From 2011 to 2013, Dan worked as a Senior Product Manager at Revolver Entertainment. Dan then joined Entertainment One as a Product Manager on a maternity cover basis. In 2014, they began working at Lionsgate as a Senior Product Manager and later transitioned to the role of Senior Marketing Manager for TV.

From 2018 to 2020, Dan served as the Head of Brand, Marketing, and PR at Vertigo Films. In 2021, they co-founded Avalon Beers, where they showcased and sold craft beers from British breweries. Currently, Dan is working as a Marketing Manager at Imperial War Museums.

Dan Gilson attended St Albans School from 1994 to 1999. Following that, they pursued Politics and Economics at Goldsmiths, University of London from 1999 to 2001.
