Darren Kitching

Darren Kitching has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Darren most recently served as the Head of Security at Imperial War Museums since March 2022. Before that, they were the COVID-19 Mass Testing Centre Regional Manager at Kent County Council from January 2021 to July 2021. In 2019, they worked as the Transformation Lead Europe at RSA for a year. Prior to that, from 2017 to 2019, they held the position of Operations Director at OWOA - One Way Or Another Ltd, where they specialized in supplying talent to the IT PMO Market, as well as Telecommunications and Engineering roles. Darren also provided training needs analysis and bespoke training to clients with complex requirements. In the same year, they briefly worked as a Consultant at FDM Group. In 2014, they served as the Habboush Group Dubai Security Manager at Habboush, overseeing office management, HR, personnel movement coordination, and security systems. From 2005 to 2014, they were the Lead Training and Development Officer-Internal Validation Manager at GHQ, and prior to that, they served as a WO2 in the Royal Marines Commando from 1982 to 2005.

Darren Kitching's education history starts with their attendance at Tarbert Academy from 1978 to 1982. During their time there, they studied English, Physics, Arithmetic, Geography, and Art & Design.
