Exhibitions And Interpretation Manager at Imperial War Museums

Emma Booth has a diverse work experience in the museum and interpretation field. Emma most recently worked as an Exhibitions and Interpretation Manager at the Imperial War Museums since November 2019. Prior to that, they held the position of Digital Interpretation Manager at the Science Museum Group from January 2017 to November 2019. Emma also gained experience at prestigious institutions such as The British Museum, where they worked as a Senior Interpretation Officer from March 2014 to December 2016, and as an Interpretation Officer for the ZNM Project from February 2011 to March 2014. Emma started their career at Hackney Museum as a Project Assistant in 2010 and later worked as a Collections Assistant at the Science Museum from July 2009 to March 2010. Emma also worked as an Assistant Curator of Egyptology at the Royal Pavilion and Museums: Brighton and Hove from October 2008 to April 2009.

Emma Booth completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine Art from the University of the Arts London, where they studied from 1998 to 2001. Later, from 2006 to 2008, they pursued their Master's degree in Museum and Gallery Management from City, University of London.
