Kaili Smith has a diverse work experience in various roles and organizations. Starting in 2016, they served as a Student Volunteer at the Joshua Tree National Park Association. In 2016, they also worked as a Field Archaeology Intern at The Montpelier Foundation, where they participated in archaeological excavations and taught visitors about the site's history. From 2016 to 2019, they held various temporary customer service positions at the Sun Valley Company. In 2018, they became a Library Assistant at The Community Library Association Inc., providing customer service, registering new patrons, and managing check-in and check-out processes. Kaili then worked as an English Second Language Teacher in Argentina from 2019 to 2020, developing personalized lesson plans for students of different ages. In 2020, they joined the Blaine County Historical Museum as a Collections Management Assistant, assisting in updating collection policies, re-accessioning items, and designing and installing new exhibitions. In 2021, they had two roles as an Archives Intern, first at BLAINE COUNTY HISTORICAL MUSEUM INC, and then at The Community Library Association Inc. Their responsibilities included processing archives, managing digital documents, and curating exhibitions. In 2021, they also pursued a Graduate Student role at City, University of London. Currently, they work as a Research Support Librarian at the Imperial War Museums.

Kaili Smith started their education in 2012 at the University of Redlands, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and Anthropology. Kaili successfully completed their undergraduate studies in 2016.

In 2019, Kaili obtained a certification in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) from the Buenos Aires TEFL Institute.

In 2021, they enrolled at City, University of London, to pursue a Master of Library & Information Science (MLIS) degree. Their focus of study in this program was Library and Information Science. Kaili completed their studies in 2022.

Thus, Kaili Smith's educational journey includes a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and Anthropology from the University of Redlands, a TEFL certification from the Buenos Aires TEFL Institute, and a Master of Library & Information Science from City, University of London.
