Jason Graalum

Jason Graalum has a diverse work experience spanning various companies and positions. Jason currently holds the position of Senior Director of Reader IC Design and EPIC Industrialization at Impinj since June 2023. Previously, they co-founded Niobium Microsystems, where they served as the Vice President of Engineering from November 2020 to May 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Project Lead at Galois, Inc. from September 2018 to November 2020.

Jason also has experience in academia, working as a Graduate Student and Teaching Assistant in Computer Science at Portland State University from June 2016 to March 2019. Before that, they held multiple roles at Intel Corporation, including Custom Silicon Strategic Planner, Manager of Foundry Design Kits Applications and Solutions Engineering, Physical Verification Runset Manager, and Custom Design Methodology Engineer.

Jason'searlier career includes roles as a Methodology Group Manager at Mentor Graphics, Design Enablement Consultant at GLOBALFOUNDRIES, and Design Platform Lead/CAE at Qimonda AG. Jason started their career at Micron Technology, where they served as the CAD Methodology Manager and DRAM Verification Manager.

Prior to joining Micron, Jason worked at Intel as a Senior Staff Engineer. Overall, Jason Graalum's work experience showcases their expertise in various aspects of design, engineering, and project leadership.

Jason Graalum obtained a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) with a focus on Solid State Circuits from Oregon State University from 1985 to 1990. Jason later pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Computer Science at Portland State University from 2016 to 2018.
