Sarowar Muhammad Golam

Sarowar Muhammad Golam has an extensive work experience in various roles and organizations. Sarowar is currently working at Implantica as the Vice President of Health Economics and Payer Evidence. Prior to this, they spent over a decade at AstraZeneca, where they held the position of Director of Health Economics & Payer Analytics in the Global Product and Portfolio Strategy department. Sarowar also worked as a Health Economist at Synergus AB, where they conducted health economic evaluations of medical devices and performed cost-effectiveness analysis. Before that, Sarowar worked as a Research Fellow at the University of York and as a Research Assistant at Karolinska Institutet. Sarowar began their career at SERVIER Pharmaceuticals as a Regional Manager and later served as a Regional Sales Manager at Sanofi-aventis.

Sarowar Muhammad Golam holds a Master of Business Administration (EMBA) degree from the School of Business, Economics, and Law at the University of Gothenburg, which they obtained from 2014 to 2016. In 2007 to 2008, they completed their Msc in Health Economics and Financial Management in Healthcare at Jagiellonian University. From 2006 to 2008, they pursued a MPH degree in Public Health at the University of Sheffield, specializing in Health Economics. Sarowar also attended Karolinska Institutet from 2005 to 2006, where they obtained an Msc in Health Economics. Their earliest degree is an MBBS in Medicine, which they earned from the University of Chittagong between 1992 and 1999. Additionally, they have completed certifications such as "How to Make Strategic Thinking a Habit" and "Improving Your Judgment for Better Decision-Making" from LinkedIn in 2021.
