Patric Sommer

Patric Sommer serves as a Senior BIM Manager, BIM Manager, and BIM Gesamtkoordinator at Implenia since January 2020. Additionally, Patric holds the position of External Lecturer at Fachhochschule Nordwestschweiz FHNW, teaching Digital Tools for CAD and BIM since August 2021, and previously worked as a Research Assistant and Technical Assistant at the same institution from September 2015 to December 2019. Earlier experience includes serving as a Vocational Trainer for CNC Mechanical Engineering at ESTECH INDUSTRIES ANGENSTEIN AG from August 2007 to September 2011. Patric holds a Master of Science in Engineering in Sustainable Building Technology, achieved from the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland FHNW between 2017 and 2019, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Energy and Environmental Technology obtained from the same institution from 2012 to 2016. Education also includes a qualification as a Certified Precision Mechanic from Gewerblich-industrielle Berufsschule Liestal, completed in July 2007, and an EF Language Abroad program undertaken from September 2002 to September 2003.
