Ari Garboos

Ari Garboos has extensive work experience in engineering operations and systems management. They started their career in 2000 as a Customer Support Representative at CT Summation. From there, they worked as a Network Integrator at Clark County School District, installing computer networks for the Las Vegas school district. In 2001, they joined Summation Legal Technologies as a Technical Support Specialist, providing level 2 support and project coordination. In 2005, they became an IT Specialist at OpenTable before moving to Lucasfilm in 2008 as an IT Service Desk representative. At Lucasfilm, they provided internal IT support, built a knowledge base of documentation, and managed the replacement of all MFA devices. Ari then joined Funzio in 2012 as a Sr. Helpdesk Administrator, supporting a company of 125 members. After that, they worked at GREE, Inc. as a Systems Engineer, managing AWS infrastructure and contributing to technical documentation. They then became an Engineering Operations Project Manager at GREE before transitioning to GREE International, Inc. as a Development Operations Manager. In 2015, they joined PIX System as a Sr. Operations Manager, overseeing cloud service integration and team development. They were later promoted to Director of Engineering Operations, where they were responsible for architectural review, project planning, incident escalations, and more. Currently, Ari is working at Imply as the Director of Engineering, Systems, starting in 2021.

Ari Garboos attended California State University - East Bay from 1998 to 1999, with a focus on psychology and information technologies. No degree was obtained during this time.
