Josh Parks

Josh Parks is a seasoned Lead Compositor with extensive experience in visual effects, currently working at Important Looking Pirates VFX since June 2021. Notable projects include leadership roles in "Avatar: The Last Airbender" and "Ashoka," along with compositing work on significant titles such as "A Quiet Place: Day One" and "Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny." In addition to VFX work, Josh serves as a Visiting Lecturer on compositing techniques at the University of Hertfordshire and The Norwich University of the Arts. As a Freelance Writer for 3D World magazine, Josh has contributed articles focused on Nuke compositing fundamentals and Chaos Group's VrayForNuke Plugin. Josh's background includes previous senior compositing positions at Trixter and Moving Picture Company, supported by a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Effects from the University of Hertfordshire.
