Oleg Nikolaev

Support Engineering Lead at Impossible Cloud

Oleg Nikolaev has a diverse range of work experience beginning in 2001 as a Junior System Administrator at The Russian State Medical University. Oleg provided IT support for students, managed website content, and supported network cabling. From 2005 to 2010, Oleg worked as a System Administrator at Mega Alliance, delivering IT services to corporate clients. Oleg managed Windows system administration, network cabling, and various technologies such as ADSL, VPN, and Apache.

In 2010, Oleg became a Team Lead at MASTERTEL, where they provided high-quality IT services for small businesses and implemented Wi-Fi projects for hotels. From 2012 to 2015, Oleg worked as a Team Lead at Zolla, where they managed IT projects for new offline stores, opened stores across Russia, and implemented network projects. Oleg also improved the efficiency and quality of preparation work and trained new team members.

Oleg joined Acronis in 2015 and held various roles, including Lead Support Engineer and Product Manager. As a Lead Support Engineer, they closed over 1000 technical incidents per year and was recognized as a top performer. In their role as Product Manager, Oleg contributed to the company's product development and management.

Most recently, Oleg joined Impossible Cloud in 2023 as a Support Engineering Lead, where they lead a team in providing support and assistance to customers.

Oleg Nikolaev attended The Russian State Medical University from 2000 to 2006 and studied Pediatrics. Oleg has obtained several additional certifications, including a ClickUp Intermediate Certificate from ClickUp in January 2023, a certificate in Product Management: Building a Product Strategy from LinkedIn in May 2022, LFS201: Essentials of Linux System Administration from The Linux Foundation in April 2020, and a Linux Foundation Certified System Administrator (LFCS) certification from The Linux Foundation in July 2020.
