Erik JP Drobey is an experienced culinary and marketing professional with a diverse background in both the food industry and education. Currently serving as an R&D Chef and R&D Culinary Specialist at Impossible Foods since September 2020, Erik also contributes as a writer for EveryDay Driver while operating a small-scale retail venture, Sous Chef Erik, focused on cured-meat products and pickles. Previously, Erik held roles as a Sous Chef and Sausage Meister at Wursthall, where significant achievements included developing an in-house sausage program. Erik's career also includes marketing positions at BrightBytes and Frontline Education, and leadership roles at Teachscape and New Leaders for New Schools, where operational strategies were effectively implemented. Erik holds a Master’s Degree in English, specializing in the Teaching of Writing from Humboldt State University.
