Pallavi Gupta currently serves as the Global Head of Information and Technology and CIO at Impossible Foods, a position held since April 2019. Pallavi's career also includes significant roles at Hewlett Packard Enterprise from January 2007 to July 2016, where responsibilities ranged from Senior Manager overseeing multi-million-dollar projects to Delivery Manager for the Clorox account. Earlier experience includes positions as SAP-EDI Lead at Clorox and SAP Analyst at Smart Modular, dating back to 1996. Pallavi holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from IET Lucknow.

The privately held food tech startup was founded in 2011 by Patrick O. Brown, M.D., Ph.D., Professor Emeritus of Biochemistry at Stanford University and a former Howard Hughes Medical Institute investigator. Investors include Mirae Asset Global Investments, Khosla Ventures, Bill Gates, Google Ventures, Horizons Ventures, UBS, Viking Global Investors, Temasek, Sailing Capital, and Open Philanthropy Project.
