Laura Welsh Fcipd

Laura Welsh FCIPD has extensive work experience in the field of human resources and organizational development. Laura currently serves as the Chief People Officer at IMPOWER Consulting since June 2021. Before that, they were the HR Director at Lee Hecht Harrison from February 2017 to June 2021, where they led various HR functions and supported the strategic needs of the organization. Prior to that, Laura worked at P&O Ferries as the Head of HR Service Delivery from November 2011 to September 2016, where they managed HR services for a large workforce. Laura also worked at the National Policing Improvement Agency, where they held roles as a Workforce Change Manager and HR Business Partner, focusing on implementing HR strategies and supporting workforce inspections and modernization projects. Laura's earlier experience includes working as an HR & OD Consultant at Surrey County Council from an unspecified start date to 2007.

Laura Welsh FCIPD earned a BA (Hons) degree in French and Russian from the University of Exeter, which they attended from 1997 to 2001. Laura then pursued a MA degree in Human Resource Management at Kingston University, where they studied from 2004 to 2007. In 2019, they completed an ICF accredited Executive Coaching program at LHH. In addition to their academic qualifications, Laura obtained the Directors' Development Programme Accelerator certification from In Professional Development (INPD) in June 2021.
