Tan Dong Xiang

Tan Dong Xiang is currently a software engineer, specializing in backend and cybersecurity, at Impress. Prior to joining Impress, Tan worked as a research and development intern at Hitachi from July 2013 to December 2013. During their time at Hitachi, Tan planned and developed a demonstrative vehicle tracking program on Google Maps to test interactions between taxi cabs, waiting passengers and the availability of a taxi sharing application on the smart phone with dummy historical data. This experience helped Tan develop the skills they use in their current position, and they have been able to use their knowledge to contribute to the success of Impress.

Tan Dong Xiang's educational career includes a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Software Engineering from the Singapore Institute of Technology, a Diploma in Financial Business Informatics from Temasek Polytechnic, and a Certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect Associate.

Their manager is Vaisagh Viswanathan, CTO & Co-Founder. They are on a team with Sreekiran Vijayan - Senior QA Engineer, Haris M E - Senior Software Engineer, and Jomin George Paul - Software Engineering Lead, Front-End.
