Xingtan Hu's work experience begins in 2016 at Amazon, where they worked as a Software Engineer. Their responsibilities included designing and implementing voice experiences on mobile platforms and incorporating customer input into new services.
In 2017, Xingtan Hu joined The Walt Disney Company as a Software Engineer. They focused on developing mobile native apps for Disney Park and Resorts, with a particular emphasis on mobile commerce, ticket sales, ticketing backend services, content manager services, and payment platforms.
In 2018, Xingtan Hu joined Grab as a Software Engineer. Grab is a leading ride-hailing and mobile payments app in Southeast Asia. Their role involved using data and technology to improve transportation, payments, and logistics across the region. They collaborated with governments, drivers, passengers, and charities to solve problems hindering progress in the region.
Within Grab, Xingtan Hu was promoted to the position of Senior Software Engineer in 2019. They continued working on utilizing data and technology to drive improvements in transportation and payments.
Most recently, in 2021, Xingtan Hu joined Imprint as a Senior Software Engineer. They worked on software development and engineering tasks within the company.
Within Imprint, Xingtan Hu was subsequently promoted to the position of Engineering Manager in August 2022. They began their role as Engineering Manager, overseeing the engineering team and its operations.
Throughout their career, Xingtan Hu has gained extensive experience in software engineering, mobile app development, and utilizing data and technology to solve complex problems in various industries such as e-commerce, entertainment, and transportation.
Xingtan Hu obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science from the Illinois Institute of Technology, where they studied from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Shenyang University of Technology, where they attended from 2009 to 2013.
