Rody Hawkins has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Rody started their career as a Research Scientist at Oscar Mayer Foods Corp in February 1986 and worked there until January 1988. Rody then joined ConAgra Foods in 1988 and held multiple roles including Director of R&D and Director of New Process Development. In 2002, Rody became the Managing Partner at RDI Foods, LLC and served in that position until December 2017. Finally, in 2015, they assumed the role of President & Chief Executive Officer at Improved Nature® LLC.
Rody Hawkins has an extensive education history in the field of science. Rody first attended the University of Tennessee, Knoxville from 1975 to 1979, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science. Following this, Rody pursued further education at the University of Kentucky from 1980 to 1982, where they earned a Master of Science degree in Food Science. Finally, from 1982 to 1985, Rody attended Texas Tech University, specializing in Meat Science and achieving a Ph.D. degree. Through their sequential academic pursuits, Rody Hawkins has developed a strong foundation of knowledge and expertise in the areas of Animal Science, Food Science, and Meat Science.
