Edel Castillo Calderon

Edel Castillo Calderon has work experience as a Software Engineer at two different companies. From 2018 to the present, they worked at Improving where they created and maintained a secure and HIPAA-compliant portal for patients to electronically sign their medical records. They also analyzed and enhanced the IT infrastructure and legacy system of a healthcare relationship management portal. From 2016 to 2018, Edel worked at Casabe where they designed and developed a portal for new mothers seeking breastfeeding guidance. They also integrated a chat service and calendar feature for communication with experts and peers, as well as improved the user experience of interacting with CSP Control Center.

Edel Castillo Calderon completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Havana between the years 2011 and 2016. In addition, Edel obtained a certification in Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft in March 2023.
