Girish Shilamkar

Girish Shilamkar is an accomplished technology leader currently serving as the President of Improving since April 2025, focusing on the development of Improving India. Prior to this role, Girish founded and served as the Chief Executive Officer of InfraCloud Technologies from January 2016 until its acquisition by Improving LLC in March 2025, specializing in cloud-native technologies and consulting services. With extensive experience in software engineering and technical leadership, Girish held various roles, including Committer for Apache Cloudstack, Lead Software Engineer at Seagate Technology, and Technical Director at MSys Technologies LLC. Additional positions include Vice President of Engineering at Clogeny, where responsibility included technical leadership in cloud and storage projects, and roles at Oracle and SUN Microsystems India, contributing to significant advancements in file systems.
