Brenda Taylor

CTO & EVP at IMRI

Brenda Taylor is the CTO and Executive Vice President for Information Management Resources, Inc., with the responsibility of directing and managing the delivery and effectiveness of the company’s federal cybersecurity solutions. An industry professional with more than 30 years of development experience in enterprise computing and telecommunications systems management, she has also served as a key executive for IMRI since 1994, utilizing her strong ties with the federal sector to deliver over $200 million in new business to the company. Prior to IMRI, Ms. Taylor was a Chief Intelligence Officer for the U.S. Army Electronic Proving Ground and served as a program management consultant for the Department of Defense, where her analytics evaluations provided the Defense Information Systems Agency with guidance to consolidate computing services from 16 sites into four Systems Management Centers (SMC).

Ms. Taylor is a member of The Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA), the director for the Restoration Christian Ministries and executive director of Operation Nehemiah, a community development corporation. She graduated from Oklahoma State University with a degree in chemical engineering. Ms. Taylor is the recipient of the Women in Government and Technology Lifetime Achievement Award for Managerial Excellence and was recently a study group member for the National Infrastructure Advisory Council’s (NIAC) Water Sector Resilience Final Report and Recommendations.
