Andrew Zitney

EVP, CTO - Global Technology Services at State Street

Andrew Zitney is chief technology officer for Global Technology Services at State Street. He is responsible for infrastructure technology, engineering and operations, enterprise architecture, and end user experience. He is focused on developing a technology strategy that enables our businesses' mission – with security, resiliency and availability built in by design – and thus creating an environment that accelerates innovation for our customers and employees.

Before joining State Street, Andrew was the chief technical officer of the McKesson Corporation for four and a half years, where he was responsible for enterprise architecture, strategy and infrastructure technology platforms. He drove technology transformation, modernizing the environments, while delivering a hybrid cloud and developer platform leveraged across the enterprise. He also implemented McKesson LabZ for a flexible secure environment that enables innovation and agile delivery.

Andrew also held the enterprise chief technical officer position at Allstate, where he led architecture, infrastructure and technology innovation with Allstate Technology & Strategic Ventures. He was responsible for modernizing the way Allstate delivered products and services through emerging agile development methodologies, founding the CompoZed Labs environments used within Allstate.

In 2011, prior to Allstate, he was the vice president of platform engineering and operations at PayPal, and between 2004 and 2011, he was the corporate and commercial banking chief technical officer for JPMorgan Chase.

Andrew is a graduate of Capital University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in business finance. He is a veteran of the United States Army 101st Airborne Division.
