Preben Foss

Preben Foss has extensive work experience in various roles within the automation and technology industry. Preben currently holds the position of CEO at IMS Technologies AS since June 2021. Before that, they served as a Board Member at TeamTec BWMS AS starting from May 2022. Preben also held the role of Board Member at TeamTec AS from January 2020.

Prior to their board-level positions, Preben worked at IMS Automasjon where they were the Department Manager for Automation from January 2016 to June 2021. Preben started their career at IMS Group AS in August 2014 as an Assistant Department Manager for IMS Automation, where they worked until December 2015.

Preben's early career includes a role as an Engineer in Automation at IMS Automasjon from July 2005 to November 2014. Preben was responsible for various automation systems and projects, including SCADA systems, control system design, and PLC programming.

Before joining IMS Automasjon, they worked as a Software Developer at Drilling Production Technology AS from September 2003 to July 2005.

Preben Foss attended Sørlandets Tekniske Fagskole from 1998 to 2000, where they earned a degree in Tekniker with a field of study in Maskin. Preben then went on to the University of Agder (UiA) from 2000 to 2003, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Software Development. Later, from 2018 to 2022, Preben Foss pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Handelshøyskolen ved UiA / School of Business and Law, University of Agder.
