August Brixtofte Olejas

August Brixtofte Olejas is an Operations Project Officer at International Media Support since November 2023, with prior experience as a Studentermedhjælper at SOS Children’s Villages from September 2021 to April 2024, where insights into human rights and project management were gained. August also served as a Trade Council intern at the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Dhaka, Bangladesh, from August 2022 to January 2023, focusing on economic diplomacy and trade promotion. Additional experience includes volunteer roles as a Program Coordinator and Youth Leader in the Danish Association of Youths with Disabilities, where contributions were made to projects in Sub-Saharan Africa, notably in Uganda. Prior internships at Concord Consulting Denmark and FN-forbundet involved conflict analysis and facilitating Model UN sessions, respectively. August holds a Master’s degree in Global Development from the University of Copenhagen and has completed Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Tourism Management and Market and Management Anthropology from the University of Ljubljana and the University of Southern Denmark, respectively.
