Charles Rice serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Developing Radio Partners since February 2012, overseeing project implementations across Asia, Africa, and Latin America. Rice is also a consultant for International Media Support, providing newsroom training for journalists in Somaliland, and serves on the Board of the Madison County Arts Council, contributing to the development of a community radio station in North Carolina. As an author, Rice shares experiences through books and has held various consulting and management roles in media development for organizations such as Horizon Institute and USAID Timor-Leste. With extensive experience in journalism education and media project implementation across multiple countries, Rice has developed skills in training and supporting independent media initiatives. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of North Carolina Asheville and attendance at the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
