Jessica Bakker has a diverse work experience spanning over 6 years. Jessica started as Social Media Marketing Intern with Meek to Chic in 2015, followed by a role as Social Media Marketer with Eyes@Narangba. Jessica also acted as a Student Ambassador at Griffith University and worked as a Social Media Marketer, on a contract basis, with Redcliffe Youthspace. In 2018, they joined Beyond London as a Midweight Designer + Art Director and worked until 2020 before moving to Megaphone Marketing, where they worked as a Senior Digital Designer + Art Director. Jessica then joined The Customer Agency, where they worked as a Digital Design Lead, on a contract basis, from 2021 to 2022. Jessica also worked as a Freelance Brand Strategist + Designer with Sol Design Studio before moving to Scene Health in June 2023, where they are currently employed as a Brand Designer - Patient Experience.
Jessica Bakker graduated from Grace Lutheran College in 2013 with a high school degree. In 2014, they enrolled at Griffith University and completed a Bachelor's Degree in Commercial Photography in 2016. In 2017, they attended Shillington College for a short period to pursue Graphic Design. Additionally, in May 2022, they obtained a certification in Figma for UX Design from LinkedIn.

Scene Health (formerly emocha Health) is solving the decades-old problem of medication nonadherence by leveraging the power of people, science, and technology. Our 360° model of care enhances the gold standard of medication adherence, Directly Observed Therapy. Combining personalized video coaching, education, and motivational content, we bringhealthcare professionals, patients, and their families together to solve the $500B medication nonadherence problem. Our mobile app allows patients to connect with a care team of pharmacists, nurses, and health coaches through daily video check-ins, anytime and anywhere. We make it fun for patients to stay on top of their medications, help them address any medication challenges, and empower them to improve their health by identifying and addressing barriers to adherence related to social determinants of health. Over 120 customers across the healthcare landscape use our medication engagement program to improve medication adherence for patients with chronic and infectious diseases.
